Description: To scan ornamental objects often requires to know how to identify the best sampling points in order to avoid wrong overlapping of points clouds in the alignment phase: the legs in the rear part and the lower part of the wings with respective plumage were difficult to sample and required 2 variations of the instrument calibration. The metallic surface produce reflections that, if not properly evaluated, can lead to mistakes higher than 1 mm.
