SolidWorks is the most common and sophisticated software for the three-dimensional design parametric and mechanical simulation, produced and marketed by Dessault Systemes.

With SolidWorks it is possible to create 2d and 3d drawings of solids and surfaces, through a very stable and widely tested geometric type system. The use of the software is extremely intuitive, and this makes it suitable also for less experienced users or from other CAD systems.

SOLIDWORKS STANDARD TRAINING

The SolidWorks Standard Training involves the creation of three-dimensional solid parametric models, the assembly of complex models and the simulation of their movement through the identification of collisions. The training course intends to transfer to the participant all the competencies for the use of the functions integrated in SolidWorks, from the development of two-dimensional drawings and modelling of parts, to get to the assembly of the individual components through Assemblies. The program will be completed with the definition of the methods for managing and customizing the table, from the layout of the project’s representative views, to the insertion of quotas, annotations and tables.

SolidWorks features provided in the Standard course:

  • 3d Solid Modeling: Transforming ideas and concepts into virtual 3d models.
  • Conceptual design: Quick Launch of 3d projects using imported images, simple sketches, or scanned 3d data.
  • Direct template editing: manipulating and modifying 3d geometry by working directly on 3d CAD models.
  • Design of sheet metal parts: creation of sheet metal parts that are easily and developable.
  • Pipeline and piping Design: completion of projects with the addition of hydraulic, pneumatic and other systems.

During the course we will provide hints on the use of the rendering plug-ins that integrate on the SolidWorks platform, such as Maxwell render or KeyShot, for the photorealistic representation of their creations. Each of the above mentioned software can then be deepened through the plug-in courses we propose.

SOLIDWORKS SPECIALIZED TRAINING JEWELLERY AND FASHION ACCESSORIES

The specialist course SolidWorks Design jewellery and accessories, offers designers the right skills and tools necessary for the creation and development of jewelry and 3d accessories of any type and degree of complexity. The training course involves the analysis of the whole process of design of the jewel, from the transfer of the sketches of concept in vector environment, to the feasibility study, to the product engineering, up to the realization of 3d mathematicians Executives, useful for the production of prototypes in 3d printing or moulds. In addition to the creation of three-dimensional solid models parametric, the assembly of complex models and the simulation of their movement through the identification of collisions, with the specialized course design jewellery and accessories, the Participant will be directed to the use of the surfaces module, ideal for modeling complex organic shapes.
